We are actively seeking for a Project Manager to be the point of contact for our clients at our Verreault shipyard. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for the negotiation and management of agreements related to projects.

                                                                                        

YOUR TYPICAL DAY

Reporting to the Superintendent - Painting, you will have to:

•   Ensure follow-up and client satisfaction throughout the work and act as liaison between clients and operations personnel;
•   Analyze contracts and specifications, clarify the work to be done and evaluate the risks in collaboration with the estimation department;
•   Produce or modify work orders based on estimation or amendments;
•   Negotiate with client when extras or credits arise during the contract and ensure compliance with the payment terms established by the Company;
•   Follow work progress and ensure that deadlines are met;
•   Write analysis and progress reports on projects;
•   Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

•   College degree in business management or other relevant experience;
•   Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar role;
•   Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
•   Customer service and negotiation skills;
•   Good interpersonal and active listening skills;
•   Analytical skills and ability to synthesize information;
•   Tolerance to stress;
•   Valid and unrestricted driver's license;
•   Availability to travel;
•   Intermediate English, oral and written.
