Job Description

The Project Manager is the direct link and point of contact with the client throughout a project. He/she is responsible for negotiations, contract management and agreements related to the project.


- Ensure customer satisfaction with the execution and follow-up of the work;

- Analyze contracts, specifications, clarify work to be performed and evaluate risks, in collaboration with the estimate;

- Obtain from the client the documentation and information relevant to the work and inform planning and production of any changes;

- Based on the estimate or amendments, produce or modify work orders;

- Follow the progress of the work and respect the deadlines;

- At all times, ensure the link between the client and operations;

- Ensure that the payment conditions established by the company are followed and respected;

- Prepare project analysis and progress reports;

- Negotiate with the client when there are extras or credits that arise during the contract.


Skills and experience

- Education: DEC in management or business (or equivalent experience)

- Experience in a similar position: 3 years

- Software: Microsoft Office

- Languages: English / French intermediate level spoken and read

- Experience in project management

- Technical knowledge in the naval sector (an asset)


- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Ability to sell and negotiate

- Ability to analyze and synthesize

- Strong sense of customer service

Other requirements and working conditions

- Driver's license (occasional travel)

- Availability outside of normal working hours

- Deadlines are sometimes tight and not known in advance


Salary between 70k and 100k depending on experience
